— The app for craqs

Skills evaluation with device and based on a skills model

The app for Craqs and its assessment system captures not only sport-specific technique, speed and athleticism, but also key assessment factors such as game intelligence, on-pitch behaviour, personality and social-emotional skills.

— 7 skills areas

What Craq Sports & Skills reviews

Craq’s competency model comprises seven assessment categories. In addition to technical, athletic and tactical components, psychological and mental criteria also play a key role, as the impact of these factors is a scientifically proven phenomenon in sports psychology. The potential and performance factors are comprehensive and must be aligned with the currently assessed potential in order to make a prognostic assessment and continuously adapt it. To ensure that reliability, validity and objectivity are taken into account as quality criteria, observations within a talent development system must be standardised and systematic.

Qualitative and quantiative data -

Elite and grassroots sports

Systematic skills development and traditional talent identification in sport rely on the observations and experience of experts, even beyond quantitative data. In this age of anonymous data deluge and AI, the human factor and the expertise it brings—based on empirical and experience-based data and observations—are being deliberately emphasised. .

Expert assessment

Quantitative data and AI are integral to modern data collection. Craq deliberately complements this by drawing on the indispensable expertise of specialists such as coaches, etc., to support observations and experience with qualitative assessments.

Elite youth sports

Youth grassroots sports

Craq offers solutions for elite youth sport as part of a data-driven, comprehensive, cross-regional talent management programme for competitive sport. Elite clubs and associations can identify all talented athletes through partnerships and within a talent region.

Taking a self-critical approach to and reflecting on one’s own skills and strengths is an integral part of personalised, needs-based support, even in grassroots sport. Furthermore, grassroots sport is intrinsically linked to elite sport. Craq therefore offers solutions to meet every need.
